Our Story
3 Ducklings...creative name,
but what does it mean?
It’s really quite simple, I have always referred
to my 3 beautiful daughters as my 'ducklings', always behind me,
following me around, eager to learn and help me in the kitchen. So
when trying to come up with a name for my cookie business.. why not
name
it after them? Now that you understand the name behind "3 Ducklings",
here's MY story..
Growing up, I always imagined the "someday" when I'd welcome my children home from school. In my daydream, the house would be infused with the scent of perfectly fresh baked cookies, sitting the kids down to their homework with warm treats on a plate with a cup of ice cold milk to wash them down. To me, that is one simple aspect that makes a house a 'home'.
Now that I do have three
daughters of my own, I have brought that dream to life. More often than
not, I have fresh baked cookies waiting for them when they walk through
the door.. I love when I hear them scream with excitement: "Cookies!"
(It never gets old!).
My dream has now become my passion and "3
Ducklings" was created so that I am able to share my passion with all of
you! 3 Ducklings specialty, the Chewy, Chocolate Chip Cookie, is a
recipe that took me many trials and errors, taste testing with my
husband, daughters and anyone willing to be my personal taste testers
before coming up with the Perfect cookie. I love to sit with a pen and
paper and a cup of coffee trying to create the next ‘new’ cookie and
once that cookie comes out of the oven and I love it – I can’t wait to
share it with all of you.
Now that's what I call "living the sweet life!"
